The other day I had a black orange saleen more or less get in my way on the interstate. He was going about 7 -10 miles hour under the speed limit "cause of the car in front of him when I went to go around him he jumps out in front of me.(first time ok) After he got around the car he gets back over then decides to jump back in front of me to go around the next set of cars (now I am gettingpissed) He then goes around them and never gets back over so I change lanes. Then he get back in front of me as go to step on the gas.(now just plan mad) I look back jump in the hammer lane zoom pass him. As I do I can here him romping on his gas.I level him in the dust.Two miles down the interstate and about a mile from the interstate near my home I stop to get a drink and some gas. After pumping and paying for my gas (empty tank to filling it all the up) he pulls in the parking lot and ask what in the hell do you have in that thing. So now that I have com down and realizing what I just did I am nice and popped the hood. He ask how did I cram that motor in there. I just said with a lot work and now you might just think before you jump out in front of a little helpless neon because it may just kick your V8 butt.
Don't want no one to think i am a street racer but is nice to have the power to put someone to same when I can.
Anybody got some stories lets hear'em and lets keep'em truthful

Meand my brother had an incounter of some sort like yours. We had to go down to Pittsburg in my brothers srt 4 . As we started to head back to our house we hit a red light on the main drag going towards are home and as were sitting at the light a brand new white corvette pulls beside us and starts reving the motor and starts talking a bunch of crap about my brothers car. Well the light turns green and we take off and beat him by about a car (mind you my brothers srt4 has alot done to it) anyway we get to the next light my brotheryelled over to him and said hey buddy when did they start putting v6's in those lol. That guy wouldn't evern look over at us.

I've personally smoked my sister in laws 98V-6 Mustang with my SOHC Automatic...lol

The best race I had where I really had control over the personI was racing was a 4 door RIO. This carI actually smoked off the line with my automatic and totally bent the car over and owned it by 6 car lengths.The guy gave me the finger before I decided to race him and that gave me the incentive to race.

More of a "for fun" race I did was against my brothers 1995 Cavalier, the first time when I first got my Neon he waxed me pretty goodbecause my plug wires were ****ty and my low end was gone totally, he talked **** for a good week till we raced again after I got new plug wires and he thought he had it easy. We raced fromstop light to stop lighton the ave and I smoked his Cavalier by 5 car lengths by 60mph thenI let offand after he was really pissed off but then gradually accepted it that I had the faster economy car...lol

Any V-8S-10 Chevy truck that was thrown my way I've waxed as well. Civics are common lunch meat for myNeon while the hardest Race I've had was with a built5 speedSubaru and that was neck and neck to about 80mph when we both decided to let off b4 cops would catch us.

The Neon is pretty fun I love it.

when i was leaving the train from school last week this guy in a brand new mercedes ran a stop sign so i followed i all the way to the freeway
once we got on i downshifted and got right next to him and looked at him and he took the first exit


i really hate stupid drivers...

oh and about civics, my friend thought i had a DOHC when i beat his 92 JDM D16 (no tq!!!!)
and everyone thinks my buddy's 4 door DOHC is turboed when all he has is an AEM intake, ATX TB and Magnaflow exhaust..hahaha
people underestimate our little neons all the time...

The guy in the 4 door RIO thought I was easy prey too when the first stop light he gave me the finger and stomped on it so I followed him to the nextlight and gave him all 143+hp of my SOHC and he had plenty of time to know what the rear of my Neon looked like. So Ireturned the favorandgave him the finger once I beat him and told him his $20,000car wasowned by a 98Neon.I've probably told this one a million times...:D

This one CivicI beat, theAsian Ricerasked me if I had a DOHC, I popped the hood and he was impressed that it was only a SOHC automatic. I don't think many people who own the SOHC automatic have working W.O.Tkick downs the way they talk about these engine and trans combo's,because they have major balls when the kick down is engaged (at least mine does) and half throttle on launch is really quick most of the time I can burn out on half throttle:D.

Yesterday i was taking a semi-sharp corner when it was wet doing like 30 and i floored it and she got up and went alright it almost spun out i couldnt believe it haha.

I kept up pretty good with my brother when he was driving his womans taurus, i couldnt keep going though cuz i didnt wanna risk an accident it was on a town road :D i really gotta race that car again i know the neons gotta be just as fast if not a little slower.

Burn out on dry BARE pavement or what here? Cause i hardly doubt its a burnout. Im lucky if i get a screetch turning a corning on W.O.T.

my old blue r/t always got wasted by 98ish and newer autotaurus' and 99ish and newer autogrand am's...even the SE models.....no matter what i did, i couldnt beat them...and i raced a kid once in a bone stock honda before...he smoked me pretty good....it was just funny though since it was a 400ex 4-wheeler:D

now the 95 taurus sho i had could really roast the tires from a dead stop;)

The second day i had my SRT4 i was on my way to work cruisin in 5th and a mustang flew up past me, then slowed down beside me, So i just stomp it to the floor, and all the misfiring and lack of power in 5th gear i had, i roasted the stang =P. :D
