Silly Mustangs......
Well I'm coming home on the highway....and yeah, I see this red mustang getting on. Okay, I'm just chillin, cruisin along at about 80ish. I'm watching in my mirrors and I see the mustang just hanging about a car or so back in the lane next to me. Then he pulls up along side me and we are side by side. And he's just sitting there.....so I look over and he is like staring over at me, just ooogling over my guages I think. In the meantime I took a glance at his ride to see what it was....yup, just a late 90s GT. Didn't even look modded. Well traffic was getting heavy so i stepped on it, just to see if he was going to follow me. Sure enough....here he comes right with me. LOL. Except I had more room so I boxed him in...LMAO. We never really "raced", I just more or less messed around with it. I just thought it was funny that he sat there along side me checkin my car out...HAHA. Had there been less traffic maybe I would of showed him my tail lights.

if it was an automatic, they have AWFUL 50+ times..there was a comparison in a C&D when my RT came out, and the auto 6 cyl stratus turned in a better 50-80 time then did the V8 auto stang...so with daves neon being a stick, and if the stang was an auto, he would have stood a chance...

I don't care if I had lost. I'll run pretty much anything that starts anything with me. I don't know if it was a manual or stick...but it was definitely a GT. I think I could of gave it a pretty damn good run from that speed....

I would run anything too. I just never knew that the GT's times were that bad, I just assumed. We all know the saying that goes with that. I should have known better than to think that Ford could do anything right!!!!!!!!!!!

no, the problem is that a few of the whiney losers from mustang forums who arent man enough to defend their boring cars read what i say here, then go back to mustang forums and talk about me...:D but thats typical of their type...to hide in the shadows...dnot get me wrong...there are some mustang owners that i am sure are just fine people...but id rather just see them all perish, and we will call the good ones that go colateral damage...after all, it cant be much of a loss, they Are mustang owners... tim: i would gladly race a tomahawk...there is no way that it can get traction to utilize its power... |

As you know I'm especially proud of the one track Mustang kill I had. He tree'd me by 0.14 sec. and I beat him by .04 sec. with an ignition that expired at the traps. It was almost like the ignition knew that it was the last thing it had to do in it's life.

Actually that was my ignition that went bad. But in typical MoPar fashion, it got back to the trailer.
PAt. I have the video still, on this computer. I think you need Windows Media player 9 for it. I sent it to Amanda back in January. If she can play it, I'd like you to see it. |

yeah im the same way I mess around with who ever is buggin me and ive won a few and lost a few when it comes to mustangs I only like the 65 -70 mustangs want me a 67 fastback red one.

At first I was wanting the new retro-style Mustangs, I might have even gotten one instead of my SRT-4 had they came out a year sooner, but now I'm glad I have my SRT-4. I'm glad I have it because it's a Mopar and because I almost never ever see them on the roads due to their limited production, then new Mustangs have just came out and I've already seen a couple dozen on the road. This is the third and final year for the SRT-4 and I've only seen 5 or 6 total on the road of them, the Mustangs only been out a couple months and I've already seen a couple dozen, imagine how many there will be of them after three years[:'(].

they dont make them like they use to they look alot cooler in the 65 -70 I would take a srt4 over the newer mustangs also I only like the older ones.

so amanda and i were outside a few days ago cleaning her truck and i was pissing around in my RC...we have a stop sign Right at the edge of our property...i hear a loud engine so i get out of my truck, and it is a red 2003ish GT stang...2 kids in it...they roll up to the stop sign, a few feet away from me, windows open, and he revs....so i smile, and give them the [sm=smiley21.gif] and say, loud enough for them to hear "Junk!"...well, i guess they decided to show me...they do a half-vast pro launch and the tires spin a bit....then he goes for the big power shift to 2nd gear and GGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRINNNNNNNDDDD....and it wouldnt go in so the RPMs scream for a few seconds, then drop way down, as he finally got it into 2nd, it bogged the engine down...so i yelled "nice shift" with some added expletives...i hate mustang people...:)
