Couple years back I was returning from the track and the highway got shutdown for a major accident. I was still a fair ways from home and had to take a suburban sort of mini hiway. It had lights every 1/8th mile or so and all the traffic seem to be missing them on purpose. Finally getting to the front of the group I figured Id try to make the next light if I could. Just as the light changes n I get into it pretty good I hearan older325i beemer beside me going for it. Not to let it get by me I gave it more then went wot. Got to 50mph n the light ahead changed, the beemer only gaining mere inches but never getting his front bumper ahead of mine. I thought it pretty funny n was laughing hard. (windows open) I see the other sides light starting to change. The beemer starts reving even higher n leaves just before our light changes green. I get on it at green but give it more than last time then go wot in 2nd. Again exact same results he just started to inch up on me by 50mph but the light changed. Well its obvious Im not going to make it threw the next light but this time I hear the beemer almost redlining his engine as the other light starts to change. This time hes really jumping the light going as soon as the other went red dumping the clutch at rev limiter hi revs. I again get right on it n ahead of him in 1st gear. Im laughing really hard n know I pissed him off. This time I back off by about 45mph n he quickly signals n jumps past my lane n the next to the right turn lane. Humiliated he makes the turn n dissappears. Probably on his way home to put in the auto trader. Reason for my hearty laughter? I was towing the Indy on its carhauler with all my gear in the 2500s bed. He couldnt beat 6tons to 50 mph :)</P>

Hehehehe, maybe you should pull out the truck in trailer, load up and challenge him. LOL! If you get behind, stop, roll the Indy off and smoke him! :) LOL!

I had fun one day in my Shelby Z against an '87-'88 t-bird turbo coupe. He had replaced the turbo 4 with a built up 5.0L and it sounded pretty decent rumbling at the light. I was feeling in the mood and ran him. It was a dead heat, it ended the same as it started. At the next red light he looked at me with a confused look and asked what I had in it. I told him it has a 2.2L four banger turbo and he about died, it was great. That was the only one that gave my Shelby Z a really good run.

They are great fun, but expensive when something goes bad. I have never seen this much wiring before, they come loaded with power everything.<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley3.gif border="0">

I was in the HEMI Ram and aCivic that looked like it was straight out of Fast and Furious pulled up to me at a light one night and reved his engine, it sounded like a cross between a weed whacker and a small fart. I thought my 4" dual exhaust would make him reconsider when I reved up but he still had a cocky look on his face. We raced and I took him by an estimated 8-10 car lengths and I started to slow at 90mph, he pulled back up to me and asked what I did to it, I just pointed to the HEMI badge ahead of my front fender and asked if he wanted to try again. He took the next left turn and I never saw him again. Also, my cousin isa U.S. Marshal and he wants to race my truck with his cruiser, there are two things that make me uncomfortable, he won't tell me what they do to their cars and he wants to bet me $50. All I know is that it's a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. Should I do it?
