Newman: Good at the Glen



Rocketing to victory

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. - Ryan Newman used fuel strategy to help him win Saturday's rain-delayed NASCAR Busch Series Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International.

Newman passed fellow Nextel Cup Series regular Brian Vickers for the lead with seven laps to go and hung on for his second career Busch Series win in the rain-delayed Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International.

Still, that might not be the most important thing that Newman got Saturday.

A boatload of Cup regulars took a little extra seat time in preparation for Sunday's Sirius at the Glen.

Man, I wanted to report this, but that's cool! About Ryan Newman's win, I am ecstatic![sm=happy046.gif][sm=gears.gif] I can't even begin to describe how good I feel over Newman's victory. I think I am so over joyed because, Newman is practically my favorite driver, and it's Dodge's first road course win since they have been back in NASCAR!!!! I hope Newman and the Dodges do well tomorrow.

 

It was awesome, rallying back from 3rd and putting distance on Vickers, Stewart etc...
