If I were you I'd call BS on him. Race him dude, he's probably running high 15's and just thinks he's running 9's. I have heard people say stuff like that too. This guy in a '92 Prelude told me he had 15K in it and it would smoke Corvette Z06s, Cobras, Camaro SSs, and Firebird WS6s. He wouldn't show me his engine.

Had a run in with an SI in the Bonneville last Tuesday. He cut me off driving down the road. We stopped at a red light and I got behind him because there was a car next to him. The road merged into one lane about 500 feet after the intersection so I was hoping he went fast enough so I could get past the Expedition next to him 
. He started to rev it and gunned it when the light turned green. I followed him only going 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. I was tailing him and I didn't even need to floor it. We got to 110 and he stayed at that speed while looking nervously and stunned into his mirror. I thought I'd screw with him so I slowed to 95 and then floored it to 120 so I was right on his ***. I did that three times. We slowed and came to a stop sign, he went straight which meant he was going down a dead end road, I figured he knew my car was faster than his so I turned around.

I have no idea, I couldn't find any specs on it. The HEMI has NO tire spin at all and the SSEi does, so I think the HEMI beats it 0-60 but once that car hits 3000 RPMs it's GONE. I was going to take it to the track Wednesday but it rained, then I was going to do it Friday and it rained again, I'll get it up there soon.

Oh, and I ran my truck last night with my G-timer, it ran a 16.08@88 and a 0-60 time of 8.06...not impressed. Tho it was slightly up hill, another person in the car, and some tire spin...Will try it again later tho, KNOW I can get into the mid 15's...(I hope!)
