Mods were a stroker small block pushing 396 cubes and a 5 speed manual. It was carbureted back then but they have since put injection on it. It ran low 12's with injection. Tires were only 225/50/15 Goodyear eagle radials. It really was just an A Body with some bolt on cop car parts
that just ran like hell. They even had iron exhaust manifolds on it the first few years, then they finally switched to headers.
Here is another link to the Green Brick, sorry, before I wrote "flying brick":

NSX are awesome on road courses. Especially the NSX-R....... I would have to see it to believe it but like DevilReject said it would depend on the mods.

That's why I provided links to results and pictures.
Am I confusing you with the facts? NSX's are good road cars, SS/GT1 and 2 class road racers are great road cars. Didn't you guys even see the results and how many SS/GT cars came in behind the Plymouth?

I like how the NSX is all the way at the bottom! Some really nice cars I wouldn't expect to see a Valiant passing!Porche's, BMW's and Audi's...that thing must be a work of art...wow!

It's a great car for sure, but it's nothing that you or I couldn't build ourselves with some junkyard parts from cop cars and a nice engine and transmission.
In the February 2003 issue of Mopar Action, they have a description of everything that they did to it. From a suspension standpoint, it wasn't a whole lot. Upgraded brakes from cop cars and stronger torsion bars and good shocks.
A Duster or Demon would look better so I'm building a Demon to run like that.

Sorry for going off topic about the NSX, you didn't seem to have a problem with others talking about Ferraris and NSX's. I brought up the Green Brick for comparison (like others did with ferrari) and since this is a Mopar site I thought it would be helpful to share what I had read and seen.
My apologies for interrupting your NSX thread. But while I'm here

1997 Results:
1969 Plymouth 4th place
?? Acura NSX SSGT1 road race car...43rd Place...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only thing I can build is a fire...or something with Lego's! I'm good with mechnics but I'm NO mechanic! Can you build it for me???
