top speed is a pointless discussion..."my car will go 255mph"...
right...on the salt flats...so if some trash talkers live near the salt flats, theyre golden, but for the rest of the world, performance abilities are measured by something that you can actually prove, which is the quarter mile...its the easiest way to measure a car (and drivers) capabilities...road courses would be the second best, but that allows too many variables...for instance, a basic example. what is faster, my stratus RT, or chase's neon? we live far apart, so we cant just race head to head...we could each find a road course, and make a few laps, but that is expensive, and what are the chances of finding very similar road courses here and there? that leaves the drag strip....you could also perform a skidpad test, but youd need alot of room and a nice smooth lot to use...
anyways...i dont know why hennessey is still in business...ive never heard anything good about them which didnt come from a media source, which is instructed what to say about them.
