Mike Wallace looked primed to win his second straight race when his gas tank ran dry on the final lap of the Tropicana Twister 300 at Chicagoland Speedway. Justin Labonte, running second at the time, capitalized on Wallace's misfortune to earn his first Busch Series victory.
