NASCAR isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Bill France Sr. is laughing is his grave and France Jr. is laughing all the way to the bank. I still enjoy watching the races as much as I did in 1990 when I became a fan. I think bringing toyota in was genius. I guarantee this season's ratings will be bettter than last season because of that. The reason that tickets to these races are so damned expensive is because of it's popularity. I wouldn't call that a joke.

 

NASCAR is such a joke that the average attendance at a NASCAR Nextel Cup race is nearly 200000, three times bigger than the average NFL football game.
