ive still only seen one titan at the track, and it was seemingly stock. it was running something like 15.40-15.50s (which i think is stock)...and he was with a newer durango owner, im guessing, because EVERY pass they made was against each other, and they were suprisingly pretty even, and the durango ran about the same times.

if i was to buy a truck, that wasnt a ram, i would probably get a titan...nissan has had decades of solid high performance history, and the titan is only breaking the surface of nissans design capabilities...

however, i do find that when im driving her truck, titan owners seem to come after me...but that is VERY short lived for them...as her truck runs pretty good.

 

What's weird is I never had a problem with titans until I got a hemi ram. I just see all the **** on hemi stickers and all that and that is what made me dislike the titan so bad. I know there are cool guys out there that drive titans thouh.

 

I don't blame you for not liking Titans! If I saw those types of stickers about Titans, I wouldn't like the Hemi.

I haven't noticed any dirty looks from the Hemi guys around here. People just seem to like what they like.

 

Q, does anyone make cams for the titan? i was behind one a few weeks ago that had alot of lope to it...i figure it had to be more than a stock cam...

Jim Wolfe said they are working on some for the Titan, but they don't have a release date.

 

i was about 20 miles north of detroit...the guy had huge exhaust, and it sounded pretty good. i was behind him in the stratus, and i turned the radio down, and i figured that there was a mustang or camaro around me...but it was definately the titan...

 

I'll have to check to see it he is a member of one of the Titan forums.

 

it was like a dark grey. some decent sized aftermarket polished aluminum or chrome rims. big exhaust..it sounded pretty good when he pulled out...especially for an import...

I hate the fact that it's hard to find products that are truly Made In America, by an American company.

 

Have you guys read any of the Titantalk.com war stories? One of the guys on there said he beat a 5.9 Dakota. Those are pretty quick, especially the R/T
