Ok well i went to the local steet races tonight and we sat there for about 1 hour waiting for it to dry up so we could race. It didnt se we left and drove around and wasted gas.. we came back about 2 hours later and found a group of trucks.. that wanted to race.

chev 1500
ram sport 5.9
titan 5.6
gmc sierra

and ofcourse my 00 Dakota R/T 5.9

well right off the back i wanted to race the Titan.. i thought of this forum and all the **** talking going back and forth with titans and hemis and 360s blah blah blah..

we found a nice 1/4 road and made sure it was safe and good for us to run.

1st race 5.6 Titan VS. Dakota R/T Winner = Dakota R/T by about 1.5 truck lengths

Mods on the titan, exhuast, intake, headers.

Titan down... so the chev 1500 asked me to race (the ring leader) lol.

2nd race chev 1500 4.8 VS Dakota R/T Winner = Dakota R/T by about 1 truck length
i raced him again cuz he was saying he got a bad launch.. but the above outcome was the same..

Mods on the chev, exhuast, headers, chip, intake, tb spacer (lol).

then i asked the ram 5.9 sport to race me and he said no... so that was it for me, then my friend and his 408 sierra raced them and won all also.


We got it on video, but where my friend was standing was not that good, you get the *** end of the race and we are already slowing down...
and if i can find the software to put it on my comp ill post it later.

The Titan must be running rich with the headers.

i believe its just a 5.6 305hp.. not sure though. but it was wonderful watching user smack that titan ***. twice in a row [sm=americanasmiley.gif]

Ya i think they make a 5.7 and a 5.6. This one was a 5.6 with few mods, like exhaust, ect.

The videos are on a camera that we need software to upload to computer with. I have about 5 diffrent races on there with my truck.. with some trucks, an audi, mustang, bike, and some other stuff. We just dont have the software for the computer. If we can get it to work on the computer ill post all of it.

and have you had your truck to a track?

 

no track yet, the closest one to here is a 1/8 mile and i want to run a 1/4 and that one is about 1 hour away. Im def. taking it to one though. I actually cant wait. I really want to know my times. Im just wating on a TB i have a cam and head work, and i have a stock TB.. i found one on ebay thats a bord out 53mm with some other work done to it. Here is the link to it.

with the work done to my truck im thinking this will give me a big boost in performance.
