i have a club cab r/t witha k&n (not cai) and one of my dads friends has a 2500 ram 5.7 quad cab 4x4. he thinks his truck will beat mine but i think mine will win because my truck is much lighter than his even though his truck has more power. i was wondering who you think would win in the 1/4mile.

In your case cause the Hemi is so much bigger and heavier, you'll probably win.

i think that you will beat him...the 2500s are heavy, and its probably 4WD too...which adds more weight. your truck stock should be good for what, mid 15s? i cant even find a baseline run for a 2500 with a hemi...all the times i can find are with built cummins.

 

i have an 05 4.7 dak with a cam kit that pushes 220 at the rear wheels now. i know its not alot of power but i hang with stock hemis in the 1/4 do to the weight difference. so if you have some extras under the hood you will beat him. i also own a 1987 buick grand national that puts an a$$ beating on almost anything at the track

 

My money is on your R/T. I really want to run a moddedR/T with my rcsb 2wd hemi ram thought because I don't know how it would go. I actually wish user2006 lived in my area so I could run him. By his races with other people it seems like we would be a close run.

 

motorider, any idea what your truck might run? mid 14s?

 

Yeah at 2300 feet with just superchips and cai I ran 15.3 so I can shave atleast a half second from that and now I have a good freeflowing exhaust, ram air and 3.92's and a posi. Guys with my mods at lower elevations I have seen were mid 14's to high 13's. I'm running my truck on the 9th so I'll know what all those new mods did to my times.

 

I got a 2003 Ram 1500 RegularCab2wd with the 5.7 liter hemi and i killed a stock rt dakota. I have exaust and a k&n air intake but still u gotta look at the weight difference.
