Jarrett draws inaugural pole for newcomer Toyota By NASCAR.COM February 9, 2007 11:03 AM EST Starting lineup for the Budweiser Shootout (8 p.m. ET Saturday on FOX) -- an annual non-points race that is a high-end preview of what's to come during the 2007 season. The 70-lap race features 21 drivers, 15 of which won a Budweiser Pole during the 2006 season. (The remainder of the field consists of past Shootout winners. POS. Newman had a shot at winning the 500 last year, I'm hoping he can get a chance again. It would be nice to see the Penske boys up front.

last lap wreck involving both evernham cars (exception of Riggs)....not a good outlook for this years 500...out of three cars Sadler seemed to be able to "suck up" in the draft. as usual they will struggle it seems like...

Sadler, Busch and Newman were all running very well with this new nose. I don't think the Dodges will struggle and I think Sadler showed that the Evernham cars won't struggle.Though Newman's engine gave up on him early. But if Sadler wouldn't have wrecked, he would have had a good finish.
