Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

I have a 1990 Dodge ramcharger and tried to get a fuel pump for the1990 but they were discontinued even by Chrysler so I had to retrofit a 1993 I have changed fuel pump and wired it and it only does the surge and dosen't run.
The pump does not run, only to surge.

By surge you mean charge the system? The pump only charges the system(key on not cranking or start) until the engine starts then it will stay running.

Yes sir charges the system when I turn the key to on. I have taken the gas tank back down to be sure to hear the pump. And cycle the key to on once again charging the system once again then tried to starting The RC but the pump does not continue running. Like there's something in the electronics under the hood don't complete the pumps run cycle. That's the best I can explain it. I hope there's help here . Thanks in advance...... Noworries.
