Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default 1990 Ramcharger No Spark Need Help

1990 TBI Ramcharger does not have spark, changed hall effect switch, changed ignition coil. No codes on computer. Any suggestions would be helpful. Have power going to ignition coil, but coil is not putting spark out. Don't know if the coil driver wire has an open, checked continuity seems to be good, hoping not a defect in computer. Anyone with suggestions on what to do or check next. Thanks in advance

90 did not have a Crank shaft position sensor, or Cam shaft position sensor. Wasn't until 93 and the MPFI, did they use those sensors. Turned out to be a bum SMEC (computer)
