Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default Possible 46RH issue

I recently got a 1993 ramcharger, 318 with a mopar performance 46RH.

I’ve noticed that when it starts rolling from a stop, sitting at a red light for example, it’s slow to get rolling. It also holds the gears a bit long. There is no ROM gauge on it yet but I’ve noticed that shifting first to second takes a while. It will eventually get into all gears fine, but it’s acting funny.

fluid level is fine and looks good. It does shift into all gears fine if I get on it.

it feels as if there might be a pressure or vacuum leak.

Overdrive likes to kick in too early IMO but I can keep it off by button.

any advise?
