ramcharger furl tank

I was wondering if anyone would know if a 90 model ramcharger fuel tank would work on a 93 ramcharger. My origanal tank has a leak, and needs replacing.(Also what other years would interchange)Thank you for any info.

I have done a crapload of studying and from what I've seen 91 through 93 are the same. The 90 model fuel pump is different so that may be your only problem. But I would also like to know which fuel tanks will actually fit through which models. I have a 1979 ram charger that I am installing fuel injection so I would need the 91 through 93 fuel tank if it fits.

Could always go with an external pump..... Might make your life easier.

That may be the way I go, I was just looking at the idea of the in tank pump for the noise and cooling. Also the ease of the plug and play with the new wiring harness. By the way in all my searching I have seen your name a lot, it's nice to finally meet the infamous heyyou :)

I've been here a while, and I talk too much. :D Maybe if I had a "Real Life"™ I wouldn't spend so much time here... ah well, I hear they have them on sale at Sears. :)

The external pumps are pretty reliable, they are designed to cool themselves by the internal flow of fuel. Since the dodge MPFI systems are NOT return style though.... might be an issue. Would bear some looking into.

Having a life is totally overrated, just gets in the way of playing with your toys

88-90 used one tank and 91-93 used another, Both different part #'s.

Would you happen to know if size and mounting is the same throughout all years? I know the 88 to 90 had TB I with one fuel pump and the 91 through 93 had EFI with another. I'm wondering if I can mount a 91 through 93 fuel tank into my 79 ram charger

Both are 34 gal tanks but that's all i know.
