Transfer case lowering

Good morning
I have a 1990 Ramcharger. Just put 4” lift leaf springs on my girl. Now I have to much strain on my u joints. With no success in finding a lowering kit for transfer case.
Mid any one knows where I can buy one or another idea please let me know.
Thanks.

There may be a 'clocking ring' available for you. It rotates the t-case, so the front driveshaft isn't at quite of an extreme angle.

What engine/trans/t-case do you have?

Transfer case lowering

I know I have the 318 but have no idea of the model of transfer case. Is it stamped on it by chance.

Should be a little round tag on the backside of the t-case, that will tell you what it is. (usually red and silver....) Post a pic if you can.

The stock CV on the front shaft is limiting you. Grind the lumps off the yokes, or switch to a Spicer style (like a 2ndgen Dodge; does more angle).

Edit: My '90 RC has the NP241D tcase.. and the (long) OD auto trans.

If its the rear driveshaft binding, you may be able to shim the pinion up at the leaf springs slightly. It may vibrate if you go too far. Bronco's used a CV shaft in the rear with the tilted pinion. Dodge 7260 yokes aren't known for being able to handle much angle. Spicer 1330/1350 and 1410 series do more.
