Default Trans problem and check engine light is on!!!

I have a 2005 ram 3500 with the CTD and 48re trans. I started my truck after work today and the orange engine light was on, I did a quick check over and everything seemed to be good. When I left work the trans seems like it was stuck in first gear and would only shift at approx 2500rpm. When I got home I hooked up to my code reader and it has a code P1754 Trans (coast clutch solenoid). Has anyone
had this problem before and what was the fix?
Any help would be great.
Thanks

Is the 1ST gear shift solenoid in the valve body or on the outside of the trans?
Thanks

Its attached to the valve body, I just replaced mine today. My tranny was not wanting to shift out of first gear at slow acceleration, or just bouncing around. The solenoid controls the pressure and if its bad, then it cannot hold the right pressure to shift gears correctly. After I switched it out, it was riding like a caddy.
