Found this under my dash while adjusting the gear selection lever. Guessing it's part of an old alarm system but also looks "dodgeish" so just wanted to check to see if it's something factory? It has a button....... I didn't push it.

 

Probably an alarm system. That's a valet button. Probably.

 

Yeah that's what I was thinking but didn't want to assume till I asked someone. I'll just tuck it away for now then. I have the power lock fob that came with the car and that works fine so I suppose there's no point in messing with this now. I'd like to get a remote start someday and might have to mess with it but that'll be later this year.
