Question 2001 Ram 2500 5.9L - replacing a/c accumulator: can't disconnect lines

Before summer really hits, I need to replace my A/C accumulator. I've removed the nearest clip off the pipe connection and have used my A/C line disconnect tool (from Autozone). I've tried 3 of the 4 size diameters on the A/C line disconnect tool and can't seem to get it broken loose. It won't even budge. I'm sure it's the original accumulator.

Any ideas?

Once you have the tool in-place, you will likely have to twist and push the lines apart with a fair bit of force. Also, might want to be sure to get a good quality disconnect tool.

I disconnected the line up by the radiator first so I could have the entire line loose to pull with. Need to push in hard and then out, as mentioned twisting at the same time too. Put some oil in the fitting and on the disconnect tool.
