Default New to forum. 2017 Durango V6

Any threads on oil and filter change tips?

Pretty standard stuff. Oil filter can be reached from the top of the engine. Oil still needs to be drained from the bottom. Check your owners manual. Welcome to the forum.

And the dashboard will give you an alert when it's needed. Mine tends to go around 7000 to 8000 miles before requesting an oil change.

I'm mostly a GM guy, but I love this Durango and my 2001 Durango R/T.

My question is simple does the plastic engine cover just pop off? What about the small cover that looks like it pops off the full engine cover?

My owner's manual doesn't talk about the engine cover, just that it is there. Here's another thing, Dodge doesn't have a shop manual for the 2017 Durango.
