Default Biggest engine

I have a 98 dodge durango 4wd that currently has a 318 in it. Im considering turning this truck into a drag truck.. Anyone have and advice? And what is the biggest engine i could put in. And do you think its possible to convert

As Keaton said, you can do anything you can afford. Put a jet engine in the back if you want.

The easiest thing would be a 360 built to a 408 or 426. Stick with a 408 if you want boost, cylinder walls get to thin on a 426 for boost.

biggest engine you can fit is directly related to the size of your wallet, if you are willing to do the custom fab work you can fit alot of motor in there.
