Throwing p0463 code and having Trouble climbing hills
my 2000 ram 1500 5.2l 4x4 , which I just replaced the transmission 2000 miles ago with much help from this forum, is bucking and knocking when I try to climb hills and also started throwing the code p0463(fuel sensor input high?) . It also shows p0132 which is the upstream o2 sensor that I disconnected over a year ago but was unable to remove from the ypipe so I just run without it which hasn't seemed to cause any issues other than the check engine light being on. I can't seem to figure out what to do about the fuel sensor code and the trouble on hills. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That's fuel level sensor. (the float in the tank for the gas gauge.) That has nothing to do with the way your truck runs, unless you are getting an over-voltage situation, in which case, that will affect anything electronic, and thoroughly confuse the PCM.
When it is bucking and knocking, does the CEL flash at you??

No nothing flashes, and I would have to say it's more of a popping noise. It happened a few more times yesterday and it almost seems like it's either not getting gas for a second or maybe getting choked out with too rich a mixture cause I could smell the exhaust one time after it happened. Or Could the timing be off? I've never changed the distributor since I've owned the truck as it is so hard to get too

I don't have one but since the last time I posted I think I have it figured out... maybe. The upstream o2 sensor is disconnected and has been for almost a year. The problem only occurs in the 1st 10 min of driving and at that time the truck is also running really rich. I can smell the exhaust and even see some smoke outta the tailpipe. I had the same problem but much much worse before I disconnected the sensor( the truck would not even drive unless it idled for at least 5-10 min after starting it even if it was warm). I think that maybe if I put a new o2 in it could solve the problem. Only thing is the old sensor will not budge. I even tried to get it out when I had the entire exhaust off the truck to install the transmission. I'm thinking I could drill a hole in the ypipe next to the stuck sensor and weld a nut too it that I could screw the new sensor into. I haven't done it yet because I have no means to weld anything though
