Default '06 Hemi, Start...die...start...die...

I have an 06, 5.7L, AWD that is the wife's daily driver. She started it this morning and it promptly died. It did the same thing with me about 4 more times maybe, then would do nothing at all after that. So we shuffled things to my Tahoe and I took kids to daycare, wife to work, and called in so I could either fix this thing or get it somewhere to get fixed.
I get back home and it starts up and stays running(have yet to drive it anywhere, gonna check a few things then take off in it). I have found several instances of this issue online in many places but no definite fix.
Do I chase a unicorn or let it finish dying? Or does someone know whats going on? Many thanks in advance.

Drove it running errands. Shut it off probably a dozen times and never had an issue. I did use a new key we had cause I read a couple of things about a bad chip in the key not communicating, therefore causing the complete shut down after so many attempts to start it. But who knows....

this sounds like a security system kicking in. If its not getting the correct signals it wont let the car continue running long enough to drive away. Try using the other key and see if it does it again, if so you just need a new key (or battery in the key)

Further research led me to that conclusion. I've yet to put a battery in the key that caused the issue, just grabbed the new key we had. Thank you sir.
Now I've got another issue.....
