Default 2001 Dodge Dakota Clutch noise

I have a 01 6cl.Dodge dakota quad cab. 2wd. It's 5 speed. It's been making this clicking noise, but when I touch the clutch a little, it stops Or when clurch is pushed in, it stops.. Also after driving awhile, it doesn't wanna go in gears. I gotta almost force stick to get in gears. Does anyone know the problem? I payed over 700 January for inspection, and I can't afford another garage bill. Thank you!

What did you get for you 700 bucks? Did they replace the clutch? It sure sounds like it is getting on toward that time.....

Voltage regulator is in the PCM. If the alt. isn't charging, have it tested, if it works on the test bench, regulator is bad. You can go with an external regulator, or, change the PCM.

Hard shifting is a clutch problem. If it's making noise, it's time to change it.
