Default 2003 5.7 Hemi Rough Idle

I have a rough idle......there was a code P0132 O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1. Changed that and it did help but didn't fix the rough idle.....disconnected the PCM and sprayed with contact cleaner.....problem went away for a few days but came back. Currently I have no codes and it idles rough. Drives fine and idles in gear fine. Any suggestions?

my first thoughts would be coil packs, they crack and can throw an arc especialy when still cold. that could cause a weak spark in which ever cylinder leading to the o2 code from unburnt fuel. more information describing the motors condition and work already performed would be needed for better answers. couldnt hurt to do a compression check.

Thanks.....yes the coil packs were my next step. Motor has less than 200,000 km's and has been maintained on a regular schedule. So far I have changed the O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1, I have cleaned the mass air sensor, cleaned the plug connections on the pcm and the problem did go away for a few days after cleaning the connections on the pcm but came back. I didn't have any codes for a week.........and as I was taking it to Dodge dealer a code came up and didn't have time to check what it was.....it is in the hands of MOPAR mechanic right now.

Turns out Mopar techs are not too bright. They called and said it was the mass air sensor.....replaced it .......issue was still there, then then they said they are getting a code for the O2 sensor that I had already changed and double checked.......they were obviously doing the same as I was just throwing parts at it. I told them they were done and took the truck back. I pulled the ECM off yesterday and cracked it open, sprayed some contact cleaner inside the ECM dried it out, then sealed the unit with caulking. Plugged everything back in and low and behold it's running fine again......we'll see how long it runs this way but I'm pretty confident it is the ECM.......must have gotten some condensation and was sending false readings.

Okay, so the rough idle is gone but now I'm getting a surge when it is cold........ next is the coil packs. No codes yet.

So far problem is still there, On top of everything else we have tried we also changed the coil packs, plugs and put in a reconditioned pcm........we did notice a tick on bank one so my thoughts are maybe a valve spring is damaged. We are getting a random misfire code now so that tells me it might be something mechanical. Any thoughts?
