Default 94 4x4 transmission swap
Can i swap my 94 4x4 transmission with a 99 4x4 transmission?

Nope. Won't work. You need a trans from a 94-95 4x4. In 96, the trans was changed to all electronic controls, which your PCM wouldn't have any idea what to do with it.
