99 Dodge Ram 1500 driver side lean

Default 99 Dodge Ram 1500 driver side lean
Hello I have noticed I have a driver side lean on my truck and I was wondering what it is, I have read on a couple forms and they all say it’s a spring problem but I just put a 5 inch BDS lift on it. Another problem I hear is the fuel tank which I do have the bigger one but I even have the lean with it being empty. Maybe it’s a bushing problem? It is about an inch difference.

Any info would be helpful thank you!

Interesting bumper, where did you get that from?

Generally, the lean is due to the rear leaf springs settling more than the passenger side.

Well, Skyjacker makes two different springs for their kits that I had to make sure were correctly installed. Did BDS? There should be different spring rates for both coils and packs.

Did you know someone put the wrong bumper on your truck? Dodge would never have those lines mismatched like that. Seriously, looks like a nice rig. How about some more pics?

He did what I did 4th gen bumper swap got mine for $100

I’m running 35x12.5r22 I got the 5 inch with new leaf springs and the BDS shocks. It’s a great kit I would definitely recommend it!

I put the bumper on myself I like the look of it better then my old faded stock bumper. Thank you I appreciate that. Here’s some more pictures.

it’s a 4th gen 2500 bumper, they make conversion brackets for 2nd gen dodges. I see thank you for the info! I guess I won’t really worry about it, it’s just one of those things where you notice it but can’t do anything about.

You could swap the springs from side to side or add a block on the drivers side.
