1996 Dakota hates me
I've had this truck for a few years but never got to properly Dailey it. Was in limp mode because the ecu I bought wasn't sending ground to trans relay. That's grounded and now doesn't want to fire early a.m. during chilly wet conditions, no power TO coil (not to distributor) To coil. After disconnecting positive terminal for 2 hours to reset ecu itl fire. Have yet ANOTHER ecu otw.. But can anyone else think of a reason?

Wait.
That's not what you said on Facebook.
No power TO coil while cranking?
Or just while sitting?
REMEMBER - ASD will kill the power to the coil if the motor isn't cranking.
(How does the ECU know it's cranking? The crank sensor primarily, with the cam sensor helping it figure out which cylinder is firing. For your truck, that's more important than most since it's also Sequential EFI instead of Multi Port FI; the injectors are fired one at a time and varied by the cylinder's requirements.)
