Blower not working on any setting
Good evening ya'll. I have a 2002 dakota quad cab whose blower just stopped working while driving down the road. Prior to this, the blower was working great, no funny sounds, not burning smells, it just abruptly stopped while I was driving. The AC compressor light is on when I depress the AC button regardless of the fan speed ****'s position (it can be off it the light is still on, I don't know if it worked that way before). I replaced the blower resistor last year after that went out so naturally I thought it might have been the same issue. I replaced the resistor again but that did not solve the problem. I thought it might be the blower itself so I replaced it also. I've checked the 40 amp fuse and it's fine. Could it be the controller? How hard is that to change? Any help would be appreciated.

See if you have power at the blower motor with the key on. The motor is wired so that it is always "hot" when the key is on. The other side goes to the resistor and selector switch and then ground.
It is NOT uncommon for the ignition switch to fail like this. It has multiple circuits and the blower uses a single set of contacts.
If you do have power, check the terminals at the resistor and make sure they are clean and tight. After that, check the ground.
