Default 2005 Cummins front brakes dragging

2005 cummins 4 wheel drive , 80K miles garage kept , original pads with very little wear .

got home yesterday and both front brakes were HOT ,, I jacked front up and I could turn them but they were tight , rear not affected .

so is the hydo-boost bad?

or master cylinder bad?

or anti lock valve bad?

never had not one problem with this truck ...

at a loss

Pump up the brakes so they are good and tight, try and turn a wheel. If it is really stiff, crack open the bleeder valve. If it is not easy, replace the soft lines.

it's both sides , really don't think it's the hoses both at one time ,, odds would be very high

It's a process of elimination. While odds are against both lines failing at the same time, it isn't unheard of. Need to check it, to eliminate it as a possibility.

Of course not. Now you are actually looking for the problem, so it is 'hiding'.
