having trouble building my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 reg cab short bed people are saying it’s not a easy build and just trying to figure out why that is and if anyone has done this build before and have any advice for me

it’s a 5.7 hemi my bad wanting to do cam lifter springs aluminum heads and some other little odds and ends

What do you plan to use the truck for? What is your budget?

Plan on putting some more hp to it high 400 or low 500 not really sure on a price range just trying to get what I need together

Why do you want more power? Do you tow/haul with your truck?

Dodge seems to be able to eek some pretty serious numbers from them..... I would think cam, heads, better intake (if available, I just don't know.) and a tune to make it all play nice together, and you could put out some respectable numbers.
