Default Rough idle

98 dodge durango 5.2 ruff idle i put card at the back of muffler and sucks in do i have a bad exhaust valve?

You need to be in the first gen Durango section.

That said, when is the last time the truck had a tune-up? Have you checked the plenum? How many miles on it?

If its time, do a tune up to establish a foundation and expectation that it ought to run right.
