Default Replacement Engine Start Up Issues

I recently installed a reman 4.7 in my 2004 Ram 1500. Here are the issues that I am having and am wondering if anyone has had similar issues or has suggestions:

(1) long turn-over to start
(2) battery voltage gauge immediately drops to 0 and stays there when truck starts (I let truck idle for about 45 minutes today until next 2 issues listed).
(3) dash temperature gauge is reading high after sitting at idle for about 45 minutes- has new radiator, new water pump, new thermostat.
(4) dash oil pressure has been reading fine until today - truck ran for about 45 minutes at idle and dash oil pressure gauge dropped to 0. No noises, however I did shut off immediately. No oil leaks and oil level is good.

It had a 4.7 in it.
I honestly just didn't have the time to rebuild so I purchased a reman long block.
