Hi all I am a new member here. I've been patiently and costly ghosting this forum for some time now reading and researching on things to obviously fix an issue I had and decided to join for more formal and practical advice specific to my problems so that a future Googler will in turn have the answers when he/she ghosts and comes across topic discussions. I have a 2012 RAM 1500 5.7 Hemi outdoorsman with the built in RAM boxes I love and a few personal mods but nothing serious as I keep a low profile and have to because of my work. don't want to stand out too to much in foreign countries. The things I do have are simple yet good enough for me. I bought a oil catch can and installed that (cant remember the brand but it wasn't costly), a AFE cold air wet intake, flow master super 44 series exhaust, dull tips (not true dull just a false pipe welded off the initial and wrapped around the spare tire, and BF Goodrich KO2 series tires. I love my truck and have had it pre-owned certified since 2013 as it was a lease some guy had for his vending machine company and he could surpass 12000 miles and when his lease was up I bought it soon after that at 11800 in May 2013. Since then I've put a couple miles on it and just hit 52000 today as I don't drive it much cause I cant fit in a lot of parking spaces, roads here and I've stored it annually twice. Its paid for and still looks new except for a couple paint issues as it is a California truck originally and doesn't fair well in seasonal climate with lots of rain here in Southeastern Europe. With that, I have minor rust at the front top near the windshield and hood mating surface because dodge thought it be cool to leave a track up there for water to pool and just sit so the paint is peeling back and bare metal rust is setting in. I also changed the seal on my third brake light when I first got here cause it sits outside and cant fit into any garage when it did rain water would drip down the back side of the rear seats and slash around in my head liner for I ordered a new lamp cover reinforced the weather stripping and RTV'ed the outlining to counter act that. Over all still looks good and does its job. attached are some pictures I took to introduce myself into this forum enjoy.

Default Thread post?

Do Admin's review post before they are publically displayed because I made a post about my truck and saw nothing in 4th gen related threads about my initial post or are they instantly posted once submitted?

Some forums are 'post approval' if you don't have a post already in one the tech forums. Posting in the 'new members' forum doesn't seem to bypass that limitation. I approved your thread about your codes though, so, you should be golden now.

thanks, I surely thought I posted three pictures but now that I look at it I posted two of the same one. I want to wash it and get more pics soon but I need to fix the original reason I even joined this forum in the first place lol. still no solid answers though so it'll be sitting for a while.

Maybe break down your questions into smaller chunks. Address them one at a time. Honestly, your original really long post is kinda hard to read as to what you actually need answers to. Post your questions i. The 4th gen Ram section.
