Trans limp mode with not codes
I own a 2005 dodge ram 3500 diesel, for the last week my trans has be going in and out of limp mode and doesnt put out a single code. I have changed the prndl switch, the ttva, all the abs sensors, i have adjusted the shift linkage, and put new valves in the trans. I have also had it in three different shops and still cannot figure out whats wrong with my truck. Anyone having this problem? Or have any clue as to what it could be? Anything is helpful because im not paying for anymore “fixes” that dont do anything

How long ago was it built?
Try this test: Disconnect the 8 pin connector for the trans electronics. (drivers side, about halfway back, plugs straight down into the top of the valve body.) Go for a drive. You won't have ANY automatic function, so, you will have to shift manually, start in first, up/down shift when appropriate. (no TCC or O/D either, so, keep that in mind.) If the trans goes into the gear you tell it to, when you tell it to, then its just an electronics problem, and replacing them (governor pressure sensor/solenoid, possibly output speed sensor) should solve it. If it still acts odd, it's a mechanical problem, and the trans will likely need to come out.
