Default Temp gauge not working.

2012 ram 1500 st. 4.7l. So I recently noticed my temp gauge in the dash cluster is not moving when I drive. Start the truck in the morning and drive 30 min to work and park and check dash and still the needle is on C. So I replaced the temp sensor and still the needle is not moving. Did the dash test by holding in the trip meter and turned the key to acc and still the needle does not move. I can hear it grinding or trying to move with no luck. Guessing I’m going to need a new dash cluster ? Is there a way I can take the dash cluster out and repair the needle if need be ? Kinda at a loss on what to do. Don’t want to keep driving with no idea how hot my temp really is. Thanks for any tips.

Think I would have another cluster on hand, just in case the 'fix' isn't really possible. Dodge says "no user serviceable parts" inside, but, ya just never know. Worth a look at any rate.

Going to hit up the scrap yard tomorrow and see if I can get another dash. Thank you.
