Default New truck new problem (cuts out while driving)

So I got rid of my cummins, thankfully someone actually wanted it lol, but I got this 98 5.2 single cab, was running and driving fine the first two days. Went to get on the highway today and it immediately started cutting out. Sputtering I guess you could call it. I checked it out and at first I thought it would be either fuel or air, air looked fine, but the fuel line going to the fuel rail isn’t exactly on there all the way, it wiggles.

Any advice as to what might be causing it to cut out or sputter like this? Thank you

Acts like it is starving for fuel. Put a pressure gauge on it, see what it says.

This was after three cycles of the ignition. Started it afterwards and this is what its doing. It had died just like it did at the end, before I started the video, so when I started the truck the RPMS went down, normally if i just turn it off it won't do that. Also, notice that the fuel rail connector, plastic piece, seems broken off.

I read on another thread that the pressure should be about 49, give or take 2 PSI. Should I take the fuel pump out and maybe see if its clogged on that bottom piece?

If I just rev it, it acts fine, its only under load it seems like.

Can you run it with the fuel pressure gauge installed?

The plastic piece is nothing to worry about, it's just another retainer clip.

Sure acts like it is starving for fuel.....

Ill have to go do that on Sunday.
it started doing this about an hour after I put $20 in the tank too. So it definitely has fuel.

I might be tempted to run some of that fuel into a clear jar, and let it sit for a bit, and see what it looks like..... May just be bad gas.

Same fuel pressure, just went back to the truck to find out. When I let off the throttle cable it shakes the needle on the gauge but it stays around the same constantly

So that points to an ignition problem...... Wonder if the PCM is bouncing the rev limiter????

Would it die if it was doing that though? It sounds like it breaks up or even not getting spark to every cylinder. If I let it break up like that then let off it’ll die sometimes.

one friend suggested changing all the plugs, think that might help?
