At a loss...
Hello all.
Not sure if this is the issue with the camera. does anyone know where this cable goes? It is just dangling around in the trunk. Where it can reach there is no connection. Not sure what the cable is for but it does look from the factory.
I had posted about my the p0456 code. I ordered a mopar fuel cap replacement. I put it on on Saturday and the check enging light is still on. idea?
thx.

That loose trunk cable is often for optional equipment—backup camera, trunk light, or satellite/antenna hardware—so it may be normal if your car wasn’t optioned with it. As long as everything works, it’s likely just an unused factory connector. For the P0456 on a Dodge Challenger R/T 2012, a cap alone doesn’t always fix it. That code points to a small EVAP leak. Common causes are a bad purge valve, ESIM/leak detection pump, or cracked vapor lines. Also, the light won’t clear instantly—drive a few cycles or clear it with a scanner. If it comes back, you’ll need a smoke test to find the leak.
