Rattle noise making me crazy
Hi! To start off, my truck does sled pull and is near the 800 HP mark. So every weekend it goes through a lot lol.
I've been having a rattle noise coming from my truck for about 2 weeks now. I hear it a lot at idle but not when i'm driving the truck since the engine is louder than the rattle. I hear it alot when in park and neutral, and less when in D or R. It sounds like something is rattling in the exhaust, like metal on metal very fast. I checked every v-band, and everything on the exhahst/turbo and nothing. It sounds like it's coming from the right side/front of the truck. It drives like usual nothing concerning.
I removed the serpentine belt to see if it was any of the accessories and the rattling was still there.
Now a lot have told me the flex plate could be the problem, but every bolt was tight. Tho the noise is loud near the bell housing...
Also I have a firepunk comp 3 transmission with the triple disc torque converter. I've had this setup for about 10k miles. I'm telling you guys that since people say triple disc converter have similar noise that is normal. But im wondering if that is where the sound is coming from, why is it starting doing it just now.
Ill try putting in a few videos. The sound isnt very clear in the videos, but its better than nothing!
