Update on proper engine care.
When you're done building your '66 Charger up from scrap metal, and have spent over $60,000 on original parts, vintage paint scheme, and a fully supercharged 360 cubic inch blueprinted engine, be sure to follow the following oil change routine:
Make sure you have plenty of paper towels handy when you pull the oil filter away from the engine, because it has a tendancy to make a mess. Also, wait for the oil to cool off a little if you dropped the drain plug into the bucket. It's a little uncomfortable reaching in to get it back.
Finally, and do make sure of this a few times, that the drain plug has been securely dug out of the bucket and placed back into the engine before dumping 5 quarts of oil on the ground.
Once you've completed your oil change, ensure the funnel is removed and the oil cap securely fastened in place before closing your hood.
Thank you for your time.
