Advice on 99 4wd Durango tires
I have a 99 Durango, 4wd, running 31x10.50- 15 tires. They are pretty well shot (General All Terrain LT) VERY noisy too.
So, I am looking at getting new tires, and since this is a 4wd, I want it to have some All Terrain tires, but not so aggressive they make a lot of road noise or wear out quickly.
Any suggestions? I had BFGoodrich All Terrain TA on my 07 Silverado 4x4 and liked them on that truck, but not sure how they would be on the Durango.
Expert Tire tried to suggest some Firestone AT tires.. but they just didn't look All Terrain..
I wont be off doing serious off roading (just getting back to hunting/fishing/camping spots. I think I will be doing the Torsion/Shackle lift to give me some ground clearance... but I do a LOT of highway driving too (800 mile one way trips at times)
