Default Load rating question for 1500

I just picked up some 265/75/16 Cooper Destinaion HT for my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 qc in a SL rating. I am not too happy with them. I have had them a week. They ride nice but really want an AT tire.

I have searched the forums but have not read anything regarding Load ratings on trucks that are 1500 series trucks and don't tow or haul.

I have been looking and would like to get a C,D or E rated tire. I do not tow or haul and would like the off-road for when that time does happen even though its hardly. This is my hwy/cty commuter as well.

What are the pros and cons to higher load ratings for my situation?

If I dont tow or haul, will my suspension be destroyed by a stiffer tire?
