1. Off-Road Capabilities

There are only so many things trucks can do, but then we see a picture like this and realize that the Ram is capable of more than the mind can imagine. This is a 2005 Dodge Ram and it is equipped with electric-locking differentials for both the front and the rear, as well as a disconnecting sway-bar, making this one of the most off-road capable trucks on the market.

2. Extreme Suspension

This Dodge Ram is equipped with aftermarket suspension designed by KORE. The picture above was taken during the Baja 1000, which is one of the toughest off-road races in the world. The Ram is known to be one of the best pickup trucks for off-roading, and when we look at this picture, we can see why.

3. Ram 6" Lift

It takes guts to push a pickup truck to its limit, and it takes more guts to push it this high up in the air. This Dodge Ram 2500 is equipped with 6" performance coilovers from BDS. When you think about extreme off-roading, catching air always comes to mind, and this Ram is excelling up high.

4. Off-Roading with a View

It doesn't get much more extreme than off-roading just inches from a cliff, and although this Dodge truck is extremely capable, we are quite sure it can't swim. This picture was taken on the way to La Paz in 1979. It's always impressive to see older trucks like this one doing extreme, heart-dropping off-roading.

5. Dodge T-Rex

The Dodge T-Rex was a concept truck, which was based on the Ram, only with three axles and six wheels. The T-Rex was equipped with an 8.0-Liter Magnum V-10 motor, and the truck was capable of almost anything, even climbing this slippery hill. The two added tires, combined with the extremely capable suspension, gives this Dodge truck tremendous traction, as well as crazy off-road capabilities, like going nearly vertical like a lizard.
