1. 1968 Dodge Dart

The Dodge Dart may have not looked as vicious as the Charger or the Challenger, but it hid a beast in its engine compartment. The 1968 Dodge Dart was offered in three different engine options, but the 440 motor was nothing short of scary. This engine developed 375 horsepower, and 480 pound-feet of torque; this is a true sleeper car.

2. 1970 Dodge Charger R/T Hemi

The Dodge Charger is one of the most popular American-muscle vehicles around. Although the 1970 Charger had the same engine as the year before, which was a massive 426 Hemi V-8 that produced 425 horsepower and 490 pound-feet of torque, its exterior has seen the best upgrades possible. The new chrome front lip and the full-width tail light became an instant icon, making it one of the best looking cars in the world. The 1970 upgrade is still being imitated in the brand new Chargers that are being produced today.

3. 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A

Perhaps one of the most iconic muscle cars in the world, the 1970 Challenger is a super-star. There were only 2,539 Dodge Challenger T/As built for the streets, and all of them were always race-ready. The T/A housed a 340 V-8 engine, which developed 290 horsepower; however, the real power that this beast can output was almost 350. If you're a car guy, you love this icon, which is why the brand new Challengers are designed to almost look identical to this classic.

4. 1992 Dodge Viper RT/10

The Viper was Dodge's newest star when they introduced it in 1992. The massive 8.0-liter V-10 engine was built by Italian exotic car maker Lamborghini. This giant motor developed 400 horsepower, and 465 pound-feet of torque. This particular year didn't offer an air conditioner, a roof, or side windows, not to mention the absence of ABS and traction control technology. As scary as this car was to drive, it was fun to be around, and it was the best-looking car around, which made it an icon amongst sports cars.

5. 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

Fast forward to these modern days, the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is a special machine. To sum it up, this monster produces 707 horsepower and has a limited top speed of 199 mph. This is the most ferocious muscle car ever built. Make no mistake about it, the Challenger can handle the corners that this power will put in front of it, which means this is a complete and perfect machine for the muscle car enthusiasts.

6. 2006 Dodge Charger SRT-8

You probably see this car on the streets all the time, but you won't understand its true reputation until you drive it. This was Dodge's attempt to regain all of the Charger's reputation and muscle roots.  They gave it a 6.1-liter Hemi V-8 engine, which produces 425 horsepower, and 420 pound-feet of torque. The Dodge Charger SRT8 is a real thrill to drive.
