1. Recently Unveiled Ram Copper Sport.

Put simply, the Copper Sport is a fresh take on a time-tested classic. First seen at the Chicago Auto Show, the Copper Sport model takes the Ram 1500 Sport model that we all know, and gives it a distinctive copper sheen. This special edition truck looks great with its bespoke copper paint, but that isn't all there is to it.

2. A Fresh Look for the Ram 1500

Like many special edition truck, the Copper Sport is predominantly an aesthetic overhaul for the standard 1500 truck, with made to look good on the street, but retaining all of its truck abilities. Pearl paint and copper accents decorate this vehicle, with decals to top off the look. Even if the Copper Sport doesn't offer up a technical innovation over the Ram models we already know, the look should be enough to get Ram fans engaged with this special edition.

3. Dressed-up Insides and Out

If the Copper Sport is meant to wow us on the inside as much as out, it certainly drives that point home. Inside, you'll find luxurious seating, special edition badges, and a general copper accented theme that ties the inner design with its rugged exterior. To make this special edition more special, Copper Sport comes equipped with a nine speakers and a subwoofer, all part of Ram's sound system. We can't argue with that.

4. Crew Cab Only

If you were planning on buying an extended, or short cab truck, you aren't going to get a Copper Sport, as it only is offered on crew cab models. You can however choose from a two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive truck, and you are going to get a Hemi no matter what. You also get 22" alloy rims on the 2WD truck, though 4WD models get more off-road friendly sized wheels.

5. Other Special Editions Coming

While the Copper Sport has a certain flashiness to it, Ram were keen to balance out the palette with the comparatively stealth Night model. Unlike the Copper Sport, the blacked out Ram Night can be had in 2500 and 3500 rated crew cabs, as well as the 1500. These special editions are proof that Ram still keeps the aesthetic look in mind, even for hard working trucks.

6. Just 3000 Trucks

Only 3000 of these Copper Sport Ram 1500 models will be produced, and they're already in dealerships as of spring 2017. With its flashy take on a tried-and-true Ram truck, it's likely all 3000 of these special edition models will sell out, and fast. Prices for the Copper Sport will begin at $46,950.
