On Sunday, the Southern California Viper Club held a cruise beginning at Supercar Sunday (at the Topanga Westfield) following the storied Mulholland Highway and Kanan Rd. to an ultra-luxury detailing shop, Lavaggio in Agoura Hills. This DF journo was lucky to be along. The weather was perfect (it’s SoCal, duh) and all but the first generation of Viper were represented. Chrysler Marketing brought out a 2013 SRT Viper and one lucky Viper owner also brought his 9.5 second 2011 Dodge Challenger DragPak.

The caravan of roughly thirty convertible, GTS, and ACR Vipers stopped traffic the whole way with a couple of oncoming cars literally stopping in the road to snap pictures on their phones (really). Engines roaring, we passed famed SoCal motorcycle-guy landmark, the Rock Store, causing bikers to give the thumbs-up and shoot impromptu video of the parade. We quickly climbed the twisties, tires scrambling for traction, and reached the summit before flying down the mountains towards our destination. Check out the variety of Vipers present (and one Challenger) and let us know which is your fav…
