Hi, I'm from North East Mississippi, right in the middle of rednecksville. LOL. Of course I fit right in.

I'm on my second Dak, my first one was a 93 v6 ext cab auto, identical to Clubbinators, top of page 74. That was a good truck, I traded it on a convertible Sebring for my wife's birthday, I hated to see it go. I pulled down several buildings with it, including a couple concrete block. Drill a hole run a chain through, and hook to the center of a metal bar, and stomp the gas, and watch it fall down .

I just bought this one, it's a 96 4x4, ext auto, Yes it was spray painted black,

Yes, that is blue felt stapled to the headliner

I like the stance on it. The Grand Cherokee in the back, has a nice 5.2 I'm thinking about dropping in. The tag does say "Redneck Yacht Club"

Speaking of stance, is it just me, or do the front wheels stick out farther than the back ones? If so is there a reason for this, or is it like the rest of the truck, half done.

I paid $900, spent another $800 replacing the entire front suspension, which was broke. But the engine and trans are some of the strongest I've drove in a while.

Needless to say I have a lot of work left, I'm going to have fun though.

Guess I'm the newest one for the moment. Picked up a 95 dakota over the weekend, still kind of unfamiliar with it all. Guy said the ear light didn't work, the passenger window wouldn't stay up, there was an oil leak, but only when running and an exhaust leak. In one day figured out that the lights work just fine, the exhaust leak is because the exhaust is laying in the bed, the oil leak is because there's twice the amount of oil in there than needs to be and thanks to two friends, the window is back to specs, though I need a new window crank handle now...

What I wasn't told was that the alignment is very bad, the speakers are all pretty much blown and it smells as if two chainsmokers lived in it for about 2 weeks straight. But it's a pretty decent truck so far.

I had a 93 v6 that i owned fir just over a year. In that time, i have lifted it 5", put in a Dixie Horn, Made it a push button start (ignition broke), installed some side steps, new speakers, and did a few other small things. But, i stopped taking good care of her, and she slowly fell apart.

Onto the new! Found this 95 with a 5.9l Magnum and some Ram 2500 axles. Needs a lot of work on little things, But the body is a few chips away from perfect. Headlight flicker, dome light does not work, aftermarket radio just flaps around, steering is loose as all hell, but i've already fixed some other problems. Default Alaska and the ALCAN Tested Tough

My 1992 Dodge Dakota LE 4X4. Bought her in Fairbanks Alaska while stationed at Eielson AFB in 1999. Was show room looking when I bought her. Previous owner treated her like a car...I drive her like she's the awesome truck she is! Snow jest bout over her axles and she never got stuck. Drove her from Alaska to Hurlburt Field, Florida. She's a wee bit ol in the tooth now...weather and time ain't been good to her...but she rumbles and burbles on!!!
