Thanks Crazy! The spec sheet is great! I'm thinking the gen 1 but I believe any of them will work for me. I'm specifically wanting to put it under my 53 Chevy truck and it will "probably" get a 350 motor.
I'm not against Mopar products. I had a brand new, bought in 1970, Duster 340 an it was one of the best muscle cars I've owned.
I got the (very rusty) 53 truck for less then dirt. In my searches it seems the S10 is everyone's choice but the wider, stronger Dakota chassis has to much going for it to ignore. Wider, stronger and much better placement of the steering. The "ONLY" advantage to the S10 is the single cab, long bed has an almost identical wb. That being said, I'm a fair hand with a welder.
Again, your info will not only be useful but also much appreciated!
ps
In my searches I've seen your your tube videos! SWEET!
